Crafted Circles, a pavilion design that draws inspiration from the vibrant glass and lac bangles of Hyderabad’s iconic Laad Bazaar street, translating cultural symbolism into spatial experience. The layout, when viewed from above, evokes the fragmented forms of broken or halved bangles, grounding the design in local heritage. The pavilion is organized into six thoughtfully curated zones. At its core lies a bakery, visually echoing the circular stack of glass bangles and serving popular Hyderabadi baked delicacies. Encircling this central feature are four souvenir shops, that celebrate the region’s artisanal diversity, showcasing glass bangles, precious stones and pearl jewellery, Pochampally sarees, and Kondapalli toys. Completing the ensemble are two outer structures—a functional glass bangle-making workshop and a combined reception and billing counter—enhancing the pavilion’s experiential and operational coherence.
